In a surprising turn of events, the three-time champions, Patna Pirates, orchestrated an upset on the inaugural day of the Chennai leg, defeating the home team, Tamil Thalaivas, with a commanding score of 46-33 in Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Friday. Despite the home side not clinching victory, a local talent, PKL debutant Sudhakar M, emerged as the star for the Pirates, securing 11 raid points and leading them to triumph.
