Borussia Dortmund assigns private jet for Germany football team in United States
Germany football team is currently visiting United States for playing friendly football matches against USMNT and Mexico football teams.
Post their football match against Mexico, Borussia Dortmund football club team has a match against Wender Bremen club in the Bundesliga back in Germany. These two matches are 70 hours apart, therefore Borussia Dortmund has allocated a private jet to the Germany team, so that the German players – Mats Hummels, Julian Brandt, Niklas Sulewho and Niklas Fuulkreg, who are a part of Borussia Dortmund club, can begin their journey back to Dortmund early and thus face lesser incoveniance and are ready for the Bundlesliga match.
Borussia Dortmund - A costly covenience
The private jet would cost 100,000 Euros to Borussia Dortmund. Noteworthy, that most of the German football clubs who are a part of the Bundlesliga were against the decision of German team’s visit to Unites States.
Another player of Bundleslilga club – Gio Reyna, who plays for Unites States will be returning to Germany on a later date than the German players.
This decision of Borussia Dortmund was defended by Mats Hummels, the 34 year old German player, as he commented that this was a smart move by the club.
